The surroundings of Inanda Dam currently offer more than 100 km of beautiful and maintained trails. But make sure not to miss the breath-taking hike around the local gorge with its impressive uMzinyathi Waterfall and Rastafarian Cave.

The Durban Green Corridor runs a Trail Centre adjacent to the dam which functions as a centre of all outdoor activities and offers braai facilities, sanitation as well as secure parking. For your outdoor experience, mountain bikes, canoes and kayaks are available for hire on site.”
The Green Hub, consisting of a small cluster of containers on the edge of Inanda Dam, runs several activities where you can explore the natural beauty and resources of the area. There are well-maintained trail runs which climb into the hills along with paths for mountain bikers. And, for those wanting to take to the clear water of the dam, there are canoes for hire. An added attraction for children is a small environmental learning centre on the edge of the dam.
The hills around the dam are beautiful, rich in tree and plant life, and dotted with small clusters of houses and rich in tree and plant life. The Hub provides easy access to these activities and offers secure parking.
